Summing Up This Weeks Deals!

Surprisingly Vons seems to be the big winner this week, and Stater Bros. takes a back seat!

Stater Brothers doesn't seem to have much going on with their sales this week.  They have decent pricing on their ground beef and chuck roast, but definitely not freezer stocking worthy.  Nothing too exciting in their produce either.  They do however have a cute cut of Rib Eye that is sure to make the is Valentines evening a little more special, especially if you are dining in.  Most of the stores this week had this special "sweetheart" cut, which is a Rib Eye in the shape of a heart, but Staters had the best price of them all.  But that's it, that's Stater Bros this week.  I know, sad huh?

Vons is finally on the top of my list this week.  Every once in a while they have some sale prices that just are hard to beat.  Actually, I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised.  As far as sales go, they are usually second to Stater Bros., but not usually topping them!  However, if you will be buying regular shelf/pantry items that are not on sale, Staters usually has the better prices.  So let's talk about these Vons sales!  There's those great Tri Tip Roast & Foster Farms whole chicken freezer stocking worthy prices again.  If you're running low, now's the time to grab them!  If your family likes pork there are a couple of really sweet deals there too that you might want to stock up on.  They're also having a buy one get one free stock up event on their deli meats that might be hard to pass up, be sure to check that out while you're there.  Several stores has Kellogg's Cereals on sale this week, but the Vons price is the winner with the Kellogg's Raisin Bran and Pop Tarts.  If you want other Kellogg's varieties there are other stores listed with great prices on those too.

Ralphs is ok this week.  Their Bone-in Split Chicken breast are definitely freezer stocking worthy.  There are a couple of good produce deals, but what will bring me in there this week is the misc. section!  They have cereal, Coke, Apple Juice, Gatorade, and soup for prices that are hard to beat!

Albertsons sigh...............................

Food 4 Less has some amazing deals on produce and meat, I must say.  They are putting even Henry's to shame on some of their sale prices.  If you are in need to stock your freezer with some boneless skinless chicken breast then this is your store!  If you have one of these near you, be sure to stop by.

Henry's always has some really great produce deals.  I'm so glad I have one of these near me.  This is typically where I go to stock up on produce.  They bring in produce from locally grown farms so it's fresher!  Sometimes they have really great deals on all natural meats as well.  For example this week they have boneless skinless chicken breasts on sale for $1.77/pound.  I usually buy my boneless skinless chicken breast at Sams Club for the same price, but since these are all natural, and since I'll be there for produce anyway, I'll be getting it from Henry's this week.  If you would like to see if you have a Henry's near by you click HERE.
